With auto-hide on, the bottom bar (settings and help) slides away. Hover near the bottom edge, or touch there, to bring it back.

Add your own buttons, branding, images and sounds by importing a code, or with simple fields.
Import code below, or use the fields to add your special touch.
Paste one line per button or setting into the Import box. Each import can be turned off or removed later from the Active Imports list.
place is where it appears: bar (the floating custom bar), header, footer, or shortcuts. id is a short unique name for that button, so a later import using the same place and id replaces it instead of duplicating it.
A button whose url is one of these just toggles that menu or action instead of navigating anywhere.
Keys: accentColor, bgColor, textColor, brandTitle, brandSubtitle, footerBrand, logoUrl, soundUrl, barPosition (bottom, top, left, right, hidden). logoUrl and soundUrl can be a web address or a local file (the fields below the import box do this for you automatically).
Remove the whole import from the Active Imports list, or add a new import that reuses the same place+id (for a button) or key (for a setting) — later imports win.
This is the import code for everything currently active (or a starter example if nothing is set up yet). Copy it to back up your setup, move it to another device, or share it.
This is the face of the browser. Click any part of it below to see the code behind it and edit it right there, no typing code required.
Everything you customize — buttons, colours, branding, images, sounds — lives as small pieces of text called "imports". You can type them by hand, use the Visual Customizer to click your way to the same code, or use the quick fields for local files. Everything is saved on this device only; nothing is sent anywhere.
There are four places a button can appear:
id is a short name you make up for that button (letters, numbers, - and _). Using the same place and id again in a later import replaces that button instead of adding a duplicate — that's how you edit or remove one by re-importing.
Instead of a web address, a button's url can be one of these. It will trigger that action instead of navigating anywhere:
Each key controls one thing. Setting the same key again in a later import overrides the earlier value.
| Key | What it does | Example value |
|---|---|---|
| accentColor | Main highlight colour | #ff6600 |
| bgColor | Page background colour | #ffffff |
| textColor | Main text colour | #1d1d1f |
| brandTitle | Big title text (or replaced by a logo) | My Browser |
| brandSubtitle | Text under the title | Fast and simple |
| footerBrand | Small text bottom-left | My Browser v1 |
| logoUrl | Replaces the title with an image | a web address, or use the local file field |
| soundUrl | Sound played when a custom button is clicked | a web address, or use the local file field |
| barPosition | Where the floating bar sits | top, bottom, left, right, or hidden |
logoUrl and soundUrl work with any web address, but you don't need to host anything: back in Customization, the "Logo image" and "Click sound" file pickers let you choose a file from your own device — it's converted automatically and stored locally, no upload involved.
If you'd rather not type code at all, open the Visual Customizer — it shows a mock-up of the browser's face. Click any part (the title, a colour swatch, an "Add a button" spot) and it shows you the exact code for that piece, with fields to edit it and an Apply button that saves it for you.
Every import you add — hand-typed, from the Visual Customizer, or from a quick field — shows up in the Active Imports list. Untick the checkbox to switch one off without deleting it, or press Remove to delete it for good.
Open "Example / export code" to get one code block with everything currently active. Copy it, and paste it back in as a single import any time — on this device after clearing data, or on another device — to restore your whole setup in one go.
